Transparency for Track Infrastructure:
Excellence in Rail Surface Monitoring
The TMS is a modular measurement system for continuous condition monitoring of rail infrastructure – specifically designed for use under real operating conditions. Whether broken rails, broken frogs, corrugations, slip waves, rough rail surfaces, or acoustic anomalies – the TMS captures all relevant parameters during operation.
The TMS can be used in a wide range of applications, from integrated solutions in service vehicles to mobile or permanently installed monitoring platforms. The system delivers reliable real-time data from any location, enabling condition-based maintenance strategies, trend analyses, early damage detection, and automated maintenance planning.

Track Monitoring System Application Areas
- Early detection of rail damages
- Identification of causal rail damage mechanisms
- Rail monitoring and statistics on rail defects
- Condition-based maintenance for higher track availability and reduced maintenance costs
- Database for reducing noise and vibration emissions
Track Monitoring System Benefits
- Measurement of critical geometric and acoustic parameters of rail running surfaces
- All measurement and analysis results available on the Internet/IoT or company network
- Results can be integrated directly into maintenance and asset management systems
- Perfected for long-term use
- Modular design: Easy retrofitting of additional measuring points
- Optional noise measurement module for sound emission and sound immission measurements
- Support for at least 10 years

Option: Mobile Track Monitoring System (TMS)
The mobile Track Monitoring System (TMS) enables cost-efficient assessment of the condition of rails. It is a fully automated measurement system designed for temporary installation in a regular line vehicle.
Installation is completed within a single day. The rail network is then traveled along. Once installed, the system starts automatically when operating voltage is applied and begins its measurement as soon as the vehicle moves. The measurement result is a detailed assessment of the track condition across the traveled network. The results are documented in a report that can be delivered immediately after completion of the measurements.
The mobile TMS is a simple and efficient method for determining the rail condition throughout the entire network.
